Baseball Returned to the Philippines
I came across the blog Baseball in Wartime yesterday. The blogger is Gary Bedingfield. An article he published on January 20 (The Battle for Rizal Stadium), appeared in my Google news feed yesterday. It is a fascinating account about the 1945 Battle of Manila and the return of baseball to the Philippines.
