RSS (Really Simple Syndication) provides a convenient way to syndicate information from a variety of sources, including news stories and Web content.

Using RSS, webmasters can put their content into a standardized XML format, which can be viewed and organized through RSS-aware software or clients (news aggregators).

By subscribing to an RSS news feed via this XML file, you can quickly and easily see whenever an update has occurred.

There are many different RSS clients available, but here are several free ones we tested our feeds with and that you may find useful:

My Yahoo!
Google Reader
FeedReader
AmphetaDesk
NewsGator
RSS Bandit
RSS Reader

To subscribe to an RSS feed, simply right-click on the RSS 2.0 graphic, and select "Copy Shortcut" from the context menu. This will copy the URL of the XML file to the Clip Board. Then paste the URL in the appropriate field within your news aggregator.

You may also see buttons that say "Add to Google" or "+ My Yahoo!", and others that are similar.

If you left-click on these, they will open the named news aggregator and automate the process for adding the feed.
