Monday, December 18, 2006 Dear Ed: This past December 7, 2006 marked the 65th Anniversary of the attack on Pearl Harbor. Over 350 Pearl Harbor Survivors and their family members traveled across country to gather for a week-long series of events that culminated with the 65th Annual Pearl Harbor Day Commemoration held at Pearl Harbor, Hawaii. We were all privileged to participate in what will likely be the last national reunion of Pearl Harbor Survivors in Hawaii due to their age. This was truly an historic event. This week also witnessed the Pearl Harbor Symposium, the Pearl Harbor Commemorative Ball, and the unveiling of the new USS Arizona battleship museum exhibit. New photos are available of the Pearl Harbor Commemoration Events. As a Pearl Harbor Memorial Fund supporter, and one who shares our commitment to preserving this important part of our history, we know that many of you would have liked to have been here in person. We will try to share this experience with you through photos, video and stories. We have uploaded more images from the Pearl Harbor Commemoration Events exclusively for you...our devoted supporters. We are awaiting more photographs and video from our pool photographers and videographers and you will be the first to know when they arrive. To see images of the Pearl Harbor Commemoration Events, visit here. These are offered exclusively to you with our thanks for being a supporter. But, please feel free to forward this email to your family and friends. More images and information are coming and we will make these available to the general public soon. But for now, please accept this as a thank you from the Fund. Our goal is to build the new Pearl Harbor Memorial Museum & Visitor Center creating the world's premiere repository of the artifacts, oral histories, documents, photographs, research and educational resources about the Pearl Harbor attack and early World War II in the Pacific. You can help this campaign by telling a friend and Spreading the Word. And Please Donate if you have not done so already. We need your help. Again, thank you for being a Pearl Harbor Memorial Fund supporter and thank you for being one who continues to Remember Pearl Harbor. This is our mission. Sincerely,
